You know how every region of the world has animals you know of, but don't get to see that often? Well one of those animals for me used to be squirrels before I moved to Montreal. My brother's recent visit and awe at all the little furry animals around reminded me of how surprised I was to see our little friends running in the parks, climbing trees and eat the occasional nut out of our hands. This is a tribute photo to them :). Enjoy.

I had exactly the same experience when I moved to London, and it also revolved around grey squirrels!
I grew up in a city in Zimbabwe so, though you'd expect we had loads of animals in our gardens, this wasn't the case (other than an abundance of birdlife). We had to get out of the cities to see them. When I moved to London I found squirrels, foxes and hedgehogs living in urban gardens which I found amazing!
This image is very 'squirrel'!.Though some regard them as vermin, I rather like the little fellas :)
